Search Engine Optimization Model |
|
 |
| Background - |
 |
| Going by how Google
has shifted its ranking algorithm/philosophy in recent past,
it is not surprising that many SEOs have not been able to deliver
what they have promised. Days of cheap webpage tweaking to get
shortcut ranks are gone. It is now the Authority Sites that
hold the key in ensuring success. Mummy and Daddy sites have
gone downhill and major respected sites are dominating Google.
It was essential for Google to avoid sites spamming/influencing
it to get easy ranks. There is sweat, strategy, right investment
and a combination of all to ensure success. |

| SEO Project
Model - |
 |
| We follow a two pronged
approach to search engine optimization of a website. |
 |
| 1. "Authority
Site" related activities - |
| It is widely believed
that, a site assumes the authority status in its field, by virtue
of its networking with other websites, age and size. While age
can not be changed and little can be done about the size of
a website, it is essential to achieve a respectable status to
a website by getting it linked from other respected sites in
its domain. Till recently it was the era of Google Pagerank
(TM). Now it is the era of Themeing, not so much about Pagerank.
Google has ensured, and for the better, that if a site is ranked
high, that deserves that position. No simple content tweaking,
keyword density, mere Pagerank will get a website high in the
rank positions. It needs to be voted by other related websites. |
 |
| 2. Website
related activities |
| On-site activities
are the second priority factors that we take care of. While
it is easy and within control of webmasters to tweak the website
to the liking of a search engines, external factors (Off-site
factors) are that much more difficult to influence and hence
are priority factors with search engines. All the essential
factors of on-site matters such as Design, Content (with Semantic
meanings), Internal Linking, META Tags will be taken care of. |
 |
| Pricing
Model |
 |
| We do not have any
standard packages, since work involved for different websites
can never be equal or equitable. The pricing includes the following
2 components. |
| |
| 1. Linking
Activity |
 |
| For most websites,
to attain the position of an "Authority Site" a minimum
of 2 man-months of linking activity will be needed to both strategize
the plan and to execute.
The
cost varies from project to project, since no sites are same
or in same level.

| 2. Ranking
Incentive |
 |
| We follow a Pay-per-Rank-Achieved
pricing model. Not a blanket cost. In this pricing model, each
keyword ranked in a given search engine is charged. No charge
for a keyword not ranked and no charges for ranks achieved after
the top 20 positions.
Charges are made only to ranks obtained in Google and Yahoo. No charges for
ranks if achieved in any other search engines. (P.S: Covering
the algorithm of Google and Yahoo will ensure the site is
optimized for all most all the search engines).

Note:
1.
Any keyword not ranked in either Google or Yahoo will not be
charged for the respective Search Engine.
2. Ranking incentive will be billed separately to the Linking
charges. Our profits are only on ranking incentives, whereas
the linking charges will only cover the cost of actual work
and part of our Web Directory upkeep.
3. Certain essential investment costs such as listing sites
with some important sites such as Yahoo Directory, Business.com
will be on actuals and you can directly make such payments based
on our suggestions. We do not charge any consultancy fees for
that like most others do. |
